| Beaches, Birds and
Barrier Islands (July
8-11) will feature a thorough tour of birding and beachcombing
sites on Dauphin, Petit Bois and Sand Islands.
Grasses, Groupers and Gastropods
(July 22-26) compares the diverse habitats from Dauphin Island
to the submerged grassbeds of St. Joe Bay in Florida.
Spaces for these workshops are
limited so call Denise Keaton at 334/861-7515 or e-mail her at dkeaton@disl.org
today!
For your 5-8 year-olds, why not
turn a day at the beach into an educational experience they’ll
never forget? In our Oceans Alive Beach Camp, kids will
have a chance to try sand-casting, collecting specimens, tour
the Estuarium -- they’ll have so much fun, they’ll never
think they’re learning! |
