Buffeted by Hurricanes Isidore and Lili in the Fall of 2002, the Dauphin
Island Sea Lab was forced to cancel its annual Open House, known as Discovery
Day, to the disappointment of many.
But on April 5, 2003, from 10am to 2pm, this fun-filled and family-oriented
event will be back, better than ever. With free kids activities
and tours of the research facilities, Discovery Day promises to be an
exciting, educational event.
Booths with a variety of free kids activities will offer so
much fun to your little ones, theyll never realize that theyre
learning about the environment at the same time.
