Gulf Coast
artist Stig Marcussen draws upon nature as his source of
inspiration for much of his work. As one art critic put it,
"Marcussen paints so frequently his brush is almost an
appendage to his body".
His
paintings and pen and ink drawings will be on display and
for sale at "Cocktails With the Critters." Proceeds from
the event will be used to further marine science programs at
the Sea Lab. Cost is $75 per person. For more information
and reservations, call 251-861-7507. Sponsored by Alabama
