For the
22nd year in a row, ExxonMobil has contributed generously to
the Dauphin Island Sea Lab's Graduate Education Program.
This year's $5,000 donation brings their total support over
the years to the Graduate Program to $110,000.
"We're
delighted, as always, to have ExxonMobil recognize the
long-term importance of graduate education," said Dr. Will
Schroeder, who has long worked to bring financial support to
the program. "There is no better investment in the
environment than education of the highest caliber."

ExxonMobil also donated $4,500 to Discovery Hall Programs (DHP),
the K-12 and teacher training unit of the DISL, and $20,000
for the continuation of BayMobile, our traveling marine
science classroom.
"Through
BayMobile, we're bringing the importance of coastal and
watershed education to the underserved areas of the state
and the region," said Dr. John Dindo, Chair of DHP. "We are
indebted to ExxonMobil for sponsoring this ambitious
outreach program."
